ASE Air Sea Express Ltd, is one of the subsidiaries of Realco Transportation Group, the latter was established in 1984 by Mr. Raymond Tu, after his long management experience in Sea-Land Service Inc, Maersk Lines and others in Taiwan.

Realco Group entered into two years exclusive cooperation with ASG AB, a Sweden based transportation group in 1984 and went into an international freight forwarding joint venture in 1987 in Taiwan by the name of ASG-Realco Ltd., for the purpose of a domestic & international recognition as well as providing a better service to mutual clients and working partners globally.

Realco Group started service in China and Vietnam in 1990 to meet with the dramatic changes of Asian economic structure while almost all of mass production manufacturers had been moving to China, Vietnam & other South East Asian countries from Taiwan, ASE Air Sea Express. thus followed the trend closely.

At the end of 1999, Deutsche Post through Danzas eventually had merged with ASG AB all over the world, at the same time ASE Air Sea Express, was established without change of company's structure and operation to cope with the unfair MBO restrictions. ASE Air Sea Express, has been awarded the ISO9001-2000 by Lloyd's accreditation (valid till 2007), which is one of a few local forwarders eligible for such quality on Taiwan.
